Freedom is a long lasting struggle of humanity. Humans simply want to be free.

Some of the most prominent names in our history are those who challenged the status quo.

Infact boldly speaking against a constituted authority will earn you the place of a legend in the heart of many.

Sometimes you don't have to be anything close to being intelligent, couth or refine.

You just have to recite the popular line;

"they want to control us, they want to enslave us, they are taking our resources, we would not agree" etc.

Just some cliches that are already on autopilot.

Many of your kind would quickly queue behind you.

That's no problem.

What's however surprising most times is that people you deem to be intelligent will be found in the midst of these rabble rousers, who might be chanting the rythms of ignorance, ignorantly taken for songs of freedom.

Anyways the intellectuals queuing up with the crude and uncouth chanters of freedom, doesn't really surprise me. At least not anymore. I guess I have paid attention to life, long enough to know that there's a game of power ongoing in every structure, the wise will push the emotional as a bait, to get into a trap, only to unleash their intellectual arsenals in denying any evidence that seem to link them to the once celebrated hero.

It's all game.

Some people are only pun. That you see them in front, doesn't mean that they detect the tune.

Freedom is needful, we can't do without it, but it's very far from some emotional exegesis which we see on daily basis. Its crusaders need the highest level of wit, couth and wisdom in agitating its course.

Recently; the fear of few power blocs or even an individual detecting the flow of things in the crypto world has intensified. There have been a public outcry against this, across every crypto community. This act of control, according to many is a truncation of the Crux of crypto. Crypto was built on Decentralized network as an antithesis to our fiat currencies which is centralized and thereby controlled by the central bank of different countries (an excerpt from

Crypto is about freedom)

The freedom to create, earn, distribute, and utilize value is offered by crypto. The value in itself is determine by the will of the people. (my observations)

Freedom gives power. It is an enablement, but it guarantees nothing. Infact freedom doesn't guarantee freedom indeed. It rather empowers or enables it.

Freedom entails that you're free to do something.

If that's the case, you are also free to enslave yourself or free to allow yourself to be enslave by another human or entity.

The greatest undoing of humanity have never been lack of freedom, but the misuse of freedom. Freedom when misused can be more deadly than captivity.

Haven't you seen people who broke out from their supposed captors but never became better as they anticipated?

Yes crypto have offered us freedom.

Freedom in itself is good. It feels good to be free. The sense of it is heavenly, but the responsibility that comes with it, is enormous.

Freedom shouldn't be mistaken for unguardedness, irresponsibility and carelessness.

It only means that no one is vested with the responsibilities of guarding you. It means that no one is responsible for you. You have to do it yourself.

Freedom means to do it yourself.

Again, crypto have offered us freedom.

Let's be clear on this;

"What we do with the freedom is up to us."

As we have seen lately, we can yet trade our freedom to some power blocks to determine the flow of things for us. The only difference is that we will have non to blame but ourselves as a people.

Free people only have themselves to blame.
