El proyecto de hoy es elaborar un porta vasos de hojas de maíz, así que después de degustar unas ricas cachapas o unos bollitos, nos ponemos manos a la obra para seleccionar las hojas y darles uso.

1 Se hacen cortes de aproximadamente 0,5mm a lo largo de la hoja utilizando las manos.
Se hace un manojo con los hilos cortados y se va atando, se dobla hacia abajo, el nuevo hilo pisara al anterior para formar especie de un moño, como se puede observar en la figura anexa
Cuando tenemos aproximadamente 5cm, le cortamos la punta al moño y doblamos en forma de espirar, pasamos la aguja por la pieza ya realizada y le colocamos hilo, atamos y doblamos; este procedimiento se repite tomando en cuenta que debe quedar un tejido tupido
NOTA: si el hilo esta muy duro lo suavizamos con un poco de agua para poder moldearlo con facilidad
