Good afternoon #hiveghana people. How have you all been doing, how was your weekends and everything. I couldn't just Missed this topic. I was hoping to write on it but due to some official work, I had to write it today..
Yes, I used to feel that age is just a number, it doesn't add or changes anything in anyone apart from the fact that you will be older than before. Sometimes I don't even see reasons to talk about age because I am always the same person.
I always wish that as your age increases, we should always be older in other things too In form of maturity.
20years: my favorite age
So many people might wonder why 20years is my favorite age Because I just turned 20years on Wednesday...but I have my own reasons.
This is me writing about my own personal experiences. For the past 19years of my life I haven't felt this peace I had on my 20th birthday.
Let's start from my 16th birthday.. I can vivid remember my 16th birthday was in my secondary school, in ss3...it was very very bad. Normally on birthdays one is supposed to be happy and then perhaps, other things will happen in one life. But I was feel with anger, hatred, grudges and unforgiveness...my 17th, I felt this burden in me and that's how the whole of my 17 years has been.
My 18th birthday, I lost my grandma and I kept crying, that was how I entered my 18years in sorrows and pains. And through out that year, that was how it was.
I can say my 19years of being too a different shape and dimensions, I was quarrelling with my favorite person. I now because so addicted to the fact that something must always happen on my birthday.
That particular age was not too good. I am always unhappy, always lonely, always miserable. My oga will Always tell me that I don't like laughing that's why he doesn't talk or play with me because I won't respond. I had a lot of things happening to me on that particular age.
I lost some friends on the way, and I was not also feeling the 19years vibes.
But you see this my new baby age.
Why 20th is my favorite age
I just clocked 20th of recent, so I am still a fresh new born. I have never in my life felt the way I felt that day.
I felt new like a fresh being, I have never felt anything of such since I started aging.
I saw myself beginning to understand somethings in life, I have been happy even in midst of my broken heart. I still see myself laughing so hard and this is what keeps me through.
I started my 20years by seeing how much people love me. I have never experienced the kind of love I am seeing now before in other age apart from parents love.
I have never hustle for phone money before, but you see this 20tears... I am about to buy a gadget for myself with my own hard earned money. Normally, I would have waited for my parents, but 20years has added a lot of intelligence in me and I am going to get it.
Like age 20 has really been an amazing age already...I saw myself smiling. This means that the age will really be an amazing age for me with improvement, joy, happiness, laughter, more wins, good health. So I am not panicking.
I don't think any of my other age from 1--19 can replace the memories I have this new year.
For now 20years is my best favorite age
