So many shapes and lines lend themselves well to black and white. I find buildings and architecture fascinating to look at, and as I have walked these streets for decades now, the lack of color gives it all a timeless feel to me. Even if the buildings have changed and grown taller, I can still see the sidewalks and remember all the times I walked up and down them. Memories flood back as I recall different views and note the things that have always stayed the same amongst an ever-changing city.
