There are days the world feels heavier than usual. A comment lands wrong, a situation makes you feel invisible. Someone reminds you, without even meaning to, how small you are in the grand scheme of things. I've had my share of those days, and I've learned that strength doesn't show up as some big dramatic moment. It shows up quietly, in small habits I've built over time.

How I find the strength to keep moving forward when the world tries to make me feel small.

I find it in quiet mornings, before everyone else wakes up. That time alone helps me reset. There's no noise yet, no demands, just me and my own thoughts. Even on hard days, I sit in that quiet and remind myself that I've survived every hard day before this one. Every single one. That alone gives me something solid to hold on to when everything else feels shaky.

My faith also helps a lot, more than I probably notice most days. There have been times when people's words, or just the weight of my circumstances, tried to convince me I was less than I am. In those moments, I find strength in (Philippines 4:13) it reminds me the I can do all things through God that strengthens me. I always remind myself that my worth was never tied to anyone's opinion of me. It never was. It's easy to forget that in the heat of the moment, but saying it to myself, even just once, does something. It's like a small anchor that keeps me from drifting into whatever story the world is trying to hand me.

My pupils teach me strength too, in ways I didn't expect. I watch them fall, get scolded, cry, and a few minutes later they're laughing again like nothing happened. Watching that over and over, day after day, has slowly changed how I see my own setbacks. Resilience isn't something rare that only a lucky few are born with. It's something we all carry inside us. Somewhere along the way, growing up teaches us to bury it under fear and self-doubt. So for me, finding strength isn't about searching for something new. It's about remembering what was already there all along, and choosing to use it again.

And I don't do this alone. A friend checking in at just the right time. A little encouragement from a space like this one. These small moments of connection remind me that I'm not carrying everything by myself. The world can try all it wants to make you feel small, but it rarely succeeds when faith, memory, and a bit of community are working together to hold you up.
