Hello Family...hope you're all doing well? Welcome to my blog for today. To answer today's prompt, honestly I practically live my life following a routine. Inasmuch as I want to live my life freely, I still end up repeating the same activities every day, which has now turned into a routine. I can't remember the last time I did something different from my daily routine.

My alarm always rings around 5 a.m. almost every morning, and that's usually the beginning of another long day. I get out of bed, take my bath, prepare for school, and head out. By the time I return home, I'm usually tired from standing, talking, and trying to make sure my pupils understand what I'm teaching them.

Sometimes, when I get home, I will feel like I have used up all my energy for the day. All I will just do is eat, lie down, and rest, but there are still other things to attend to. Before I know it, it's evening, and I'm already thinking about the next day.

The funny thing is that I already know how most of my days will go. I wake up, go to school, come back home, eat, pick up my phone, and eventually sleep. Then the next morning, I start all over again.

Even when I have free time, I don't always do anything different. I might spend hours on my phone, check my social media accounts, or watch a movie. Sometimes, I get so carried away that I don't realise how much time has passed until I look at the clock.

Before I know it, it's time to sleep because I have to wake up early again.

Weekends are not always different either. I usually look forward to them because I want to rest from the stress of the week. But somehow, those two days pass so quickly. I will surely have housework to do, clothes to wash, or other things I couldn't attend to during the week. Before I finish everything, it's almost time to prepare for another Monday.

And just like that, another week begins.

Sometimes, I wish I could wake up one morning without having to think about what I need to do that day. I want to have a day when I can decide what to do as the day goes on, without worrying about going to bed early because I have somewhere to be the next morning.

It's not that I don't enjoy the things I do. I love teaching, and I have other things I enjoy doing in my free time. But somewhere along the line, my days have become so predictable that I can almost tell what I'll be doing from morning until night.

Even when I think about trying something different, I often end up doing the same old things. Maybe it's because I'm used to my routine, or perhaps my daily responsibilities leave me with little time and energy for anything else.

Honestly, I don't even know when it became this way. I just know that most days look alike, and before I realise it, another month has passed, and that's just how I have been living.
