Today being 25th June was really hectic for me. As a teacher this time of the term is always very busy for us as we have started setting exam questions and trying to cover up the the scheme of work. Even though I have tried to cover up with most of them, but I still have few lapses here and there, but I believe I will be able to finish up by next week.
We started with day with our usual morning devotion, that's always necessary if not compulsory in Nigeria basic and secondary schools. After which we proceeded to teaching immediately.
The only topic remaining in basic science was about water floatation, focusing on objects that floats and sinks in water. I explained everything to my learners and asked them to copy it down inside their note book.
As they were busy writing, I had to use the opportunity to continue with setting of exam questions, we've already been given a deadline for this, and for the fact that we are offering 12 subjects and I need to write each of them is really tiring, but I just had to start.
I was able to finish up with five exam questions today, tomorrow I continue from there. After teaching, and around 2:00pm, it was time to go home. We dismissed the learners and everyone went home. I stayed back a bit to tidy up with the marking and recording of scores.
It has been exhausting, and I can't wait for the weekend to come around for few days of rest. Though it was really a busy day but generally it was a productive day and hopefully won't be too stressful again as the term is rounding up. This is my @Dailyblog post on how my day went today.
