Cryptocurrency exchanges for making money: My Experience and Suggestions

I started exchanging cryptocurrency (mainly with BTC) from February 2017 on Poloniex platform.

I started with very small amount i.e 50 dollars. well at start I was unable to do any profit but with passing time and gaining some knowledge about the marketCap. I was able to do some profit. Through my experience, Here are my suggestions:
1.) For Exchanging you must invest at least 500$ (0.11 BTC) to make decent amount of money from start.
2.) You must have strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency market to have some strong future predictions.

3.) You should invest those coins or altcoins which have very low volume, because after gaining volume it can increase in its value to a great extent.
4.) You should also check the 6 months history of the coin if it is in its peak, middle or low value.

5.) The coin with many high sharp peaks has the capability to make large profits.
6.) Don't be fooled with the change value of the coin because it only show change for the last 24 hrs.

My 8 months experience says that exchanging is good for long term profits instead of hoping quick profits. Well, after all it is only my experience, anyone can disagree with me.
