It may seem like a rant, but in this video I explain why I quit looking for projects on Freelancer and Upwork. A friend of mine runs a really good app development company and they have a lot of projects and high-end clients. But when they created their upwork profile and applied to around a 100 jobs, they didn't get a single projects. And the prices were very competitive if not low. I have read a lot of similar stories in the last couple of months so here is my take on why you should stop looking for projects and cheap work on Freelancer and UpWork and rather invest your time in contacting clients directly and building more stable and real business relationships.
