Ostrich, Strutio Camelus, bird Runner of the family of the Estrucionidas. It measures up two meters in height, is characterized by its high neck and almost naked, with sturdy legs and great length, with only two fingers in each one.
These birds are not suitable for flying due to the type of feathers they have on their wings, however they can make fast races and long jumps. They live in Africa and Arabia, feed on vegetables and small animals, the female lays eggs of two kilograms of weight.
Ostrich is a bird very attractive by the exuberance of its plumage and its size, which is why it makes it a vulnerable species for hunting and smuggling. In my opinion, we must respect and be guarantors of the permanence of these beautiful species throughout the planet, as well as providing them with an optimal environment for their growth, development and reproduction.
