A rainy day continues

Today is going to be a relatively quiet day. From Friday through the weekend, it has been silent, with few people coming and going, but today will be a special quiet day. It is raining a little outside, and the rainy season is approaching, even in Osaka. A cute butterfly came into my garden. A few weeks ago, many swallowtail butterflies came and laid their eggs on the citrus trees, but this butterfly seems to be a different species. They were probably a pair, and two flew in the light rain.

今日は比較的静かな日になりそうだ。金曜日から週末にかけて、人の出入りが少なく静かではあるけど今日は特別静かな日になりそうです。外は少し雨が降っていて、梅雨入りが大阪でも近づいてきている感じがします。庭にかわいい蝶が来ていました。数週間前はアゲハチョウがたくさん来て、柑橘類の木々に卵を産み付けていましたがこの蝶は違った種類のようです。つがいで来ていたのか、2匹がゆらゆらと小雨の中を飛んでいました。

The hydrangeas in my mom's garden are in season now and have started to bloom fully. Hydrangeas seem to be plants that need a lot of moisture, and if the sun shines a little too strongly for a long time, they become crumpled up and nod listlessly. The rainy days have continued recently, and the hydrangeas have been blooming in abundance.

オカンの庭のアジサイは本当に今が旬で、満開に咲き始めました。アジサイは水分がたくさんいる植物の様で、少し日差しの強い日が続くとくしゃっとなって元気無さそうにうなだれています。この頃は雨の日が続き、アジサイも元気に花をたくさん咲かせてくれていま。

Breakfast with my mom

It has been a while since I had breakfast with my mother. Since I left home to study at 18 and started living alone, I have lost many opportunities to have breakfast with my parents. When we travel together, we have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, but we don't eat breakfast together at home like this anymore. The main reason is that we don't live together, but I think it is essential to have time for each other without living together. Still, when I suddenly realized after a long time, I felt again that the opportunities to have breakfast together had decreased. I felt sad, but I had no choice and therefore decided to cherish this time now.

久しぶりに朝御飯をオカンと食べました。 18歳から勉強のため家を出て独り暮らしになり、オカンと朝御飯を食べる機会がぐんと失くなりました。一緒に旅行に行った時などはホテルでゆっくり朝食を頂きますが、家でこのように一緒に朝食を食べることなど無くなりました。一緒に住んでいないのが主な理由ではありますが、一緒に住まずお互いの時間を持つと言うことは大切だと思います。それにしても、久しぶりにふと気付くと一緒に朝食を取る機会も減っていたんだなぁと改めて感じました。少し寂しいような、でも仕方がないような、それ故に、今のこの時間を大切にしようと思いました。

My mom's treasured collection of hydrangeas. I hope you all enjoy looking at the photos. My sisters know she loves hydrangeas, so they bought various unusual and rare types of hydrangeas for her, and before I knew it, the hydrangea garden in our yard had become a little unusual.

オカンの大切にしているアジサイのコレクション。皆さんも写真を見て楽しんでください。姉たちもオカンがアジサイが好きなのを知っていて、色々と変わった珍しい種類のアジサイを買ってきてくれて、気がつくと庭に咲くアジサイはすこし珍しいアジサイ園になりました。

On a different topic, the 551 pork bread, aka butaman, I bought the other day was the best I've ever tasted, and I am so happy to be a Kansai person. LOL. Happiness wrapped up in 860 yen is the best kind of price.

話は変わりますが、先日買った551が最高に美味しくて、関西人でよかったと幸せに包まれました。笑。 860円で包まれる幸せって、コスパ最高だとおもいませんか。
