It is believed that to err is human and to forgive is human, that phrase keeps ringing in mine as we approach this Christmas festive period, why this and why now I asked myself.
I remembered that we were heading to Christmas and I had to put in place what is required for this season after the religious celebration and observance since there will be a short holiday, so attending church activities and ceremonies won't be enough to mark this year's Christmas.
I have to extend my hands to others in the form of almsgiving, giving back, and having family gatherings and meals were necessary to be part of the Christmas activity for this season
A few days before the festive day I felt it necessary to make amendments and peace with everyone that I might have done wrong knowingly or unknowingly, then traveling to the village or inviting all my extended family members came into my mind and I thought it right that bringing inviting family is quite okay and necessary.
I quickly looked into my room and put everything in place like the Christmas 🎄 trees and light, wreaths, ornaments, and all the necessary decorating materials to bring to mind the spirit and wonderful Christmas atmosphere, after all was done and set, I made the proper invitation.
Now, the answer to the first write-up paragraph came right away I remembered that I had some little grudges against my cousin seven years ago and felt this was the right time to make an amendment and reconcile with him since he's also coming along with the rest family members.
It is not a thing of doubt that forgiveness plays in significant role in the human absolute mind of peace and also acts as an antidote against grudges. Forgiveness certainly requires strength and courage to accept our wrongs by forgiving and forgetting not to forgive, and you still remember the incident in a bad manner and feel regret.
The long-awaited day came and they all came around to celebrate with me I made my proposal before him and another member of the family present and boom my cousin was pleased as he embraced me and my idea and always apologized too and there we made ourselves happy and friendly as before.
I was so happy to make my Christmas plan go this way and successful as I planned
