Yay!!!!
It’s the first Sunday of the Month and the beginning of a new week. There was once a time I would say I hated the beginning of a new week but that has changed. I always look forward to beginning of a new week for every week comes with its own blessings and opportunities.
I’ve been offline this weekend so I couldn’t drop any post these past two days. I wasn’t happy about this for I had promised myself few days ago to always drop at least a post every day.
Well I will make sure this doesn’t occur again.
May has been awesome so far. I entered into this month with a supernatural feeling.
Had a long night of rest after a long day of some errands I had to do for a friend, wrapped up the day with a meal I made which I munched with a friend and had some fun before I eventually went to bed.
I woke up by 6am with the aim of preparing for service quite early but couldn’t because I had a stomach ache which I wasn’t comfortable with, I decided to attend evening service. Fortunately I had left my phone in a neighbor’s room to charge over-night so I quickly went on line to reply some messages I couldn’t reply for the past 2 days. I came across a friend’s message that reminded me that we had communion service today.
Then it dawned on me that I had to try and make it to church this morning.
Every meeting or service in the house of God comes with its own blessing, no meeting or service are the same.
With this in mind, I prepared and headed to church. I got to church by 8:13 am. Service starts by 8am. I couldn’t minister with the choir since I missed yesterday’s rehearsal. Yes, I got to church late. I joined the service.
The Choir ministration was beautiful as I caught myself singing along. Service was power packed. With the excitement and blessings I had received from this service, I headed to one of my favorite Eateries to get Lunch for myself and a friend.
I rested for a while, played scrabble with my friend and then prepared for Communion service. I would have cried if I had missed this for anything in the world. Rev Chris Oyakhilome gave the word for the month. It’s our Month of Favor. I received this with so much gladness in my heart not only because it is my birth month but because I’ve been basking in that realm since the beginning of this month. So this was just a confirmation.
