After the experiences on Saturday, Sunday was definitely a slow day. But I got everything done that needed to be done, slowly, and tiredly. My legs were kind of hurting, so going to the market was a little fastidious. And then the girl that sells Papas con Berro wasn’t there, told me that they’re at the church, which they weren’t, turns out she didn’t go but her mother. So I walked back to get my fix from the other ladies at the market. Humans.
A good friend came over to watch the game together, that was fun. That animated me to buy a case of beer for us. Which we emptied between the three of us (Ellie came, too). Ellie will have to go on a stricter diet, no alcohol at all for a month, and I’m going to take that as a challenge for myself, too. There’s always another step to take towards being healthier in body and mind. And although I cut down on alcohol a lot by now, I think I can be happier by reducing it even more. So I’ll try.
The rest of the evening I spent with Ellie. We started watching a movie, but she had to go a little earlier to get something done for her daughter. So I prepared myself to go to bed a on time as well. I was tempted to put on a movie, and did, but then decided against it. Sleep was more important.
Today is Lily’s birthday. 8 years old. I was able to call her, but I’ll talk about that in today’s report. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
