A Life Lesson

On a cool Monday morning, the teacher entered the class and got the marker and he wrote this in the board.
2 x 1 =1
2 x 2 =4
2 x 3 =6
2 x 4 =8
2 x 5 =10

Now he stopped and looked at his students who were already whispering and some where laughing,making fun of him,others were like how can our teacher make a silly mistake of not knowing 2 x 1 equals 2. The teacher smiled and told them.

I had written it wrongly and you all made fun of me, this is the same way the world would criticize you for the little mistake you make instead of correcting you,they will pay attention to your flaws and not the lessons. The same way you All did not pay attention to the rest of the correct lesson, but you had more interest in my mistake, that’s how cruel the world would be to you.

He told his class, I am your teacher, I should know better, I have always thought you correctly, so why do you criticize my little mistake instead of pointing it out ? The class was quiet!

And he told his class this is my lesson to you today, instead of math, know this ‘The world would not appreciate the good you do even a million times but would always be ready to point out the least mistake you make.

Now this short story reflects on the society today, and my words to you guys today is Don’t bother with hypocrites or judgmental people who criticize you and try to put you down because they are too shallow to recognize their own weaknesses.Its easier for them to try to make others feel bad than to look in the mirror at their own pathetic behaviors.
