Happy friday hivers!!!
Today ,my sister in-law and nephew sent me a money for a birthday celebration tomorrow.
My sister in -law is in Hongkong now ,working as a domestic helper ,so every time we had a celebration here ,its my task to do budgeting and cooked and prepared for the celebrations.
They trusted me since they are not here and I am doing this also to pay them back their kindness to me ,so whatever they requested as long as I knew it and I can hadle and manage it ,I always said yes to them.
So ,tomorrow my husband's nephew will be celebrating his 25th birthday but he is not here ,he is in manila for work but he sent me 1000pesos or $20 and her mom too sent me same amount .
So I decided to have 3 menu for tomorrow ,since we don't have visitors too only our family will be here.
My menu is pancit or noodles,roasted chicken and grilled fish.
I decided to buy the ingredients I needed for the pancit so that tomorrow ,I only buy the fish and the roasted chicken then cooked the pancit.
Pancit is the menu which the filipino serves in every occasions.Way back when I was a kid ,I am super happy everytime we pancit in our table,I was thinking that it was the best food ever coz mostly we had dried fish ,egg and salted fish as our viand.
They said that pancit symbolizes a long life .Pancit is a menu which is the main ingredients is noodles ,then added with vegetables like cabbage ,carrot ,beans and meat.
So this afternoon , I went to the market to buy the ingredients but before I went to the market ,I went first to a bakery to ordered a mocha cake flavor and to be pick up tomorrow but unlucky ,I was'nt able to take some photos at the bakeshop.
The cake is worth 300pesos or $6 ,then I budgeted the pancit ingredients will only 600pesos or near $12 ,and the rest amount should be enough for the roasted chicken and for the fish.

Anyway ,I saw this peanut and I was surprised that they are selling it in per kilo ,I thought it only pack for a small pack.I wanted to buy but I don't have an extra money for it hahaha.
After that I went to meat area ,I was looking for a pork meat amd a pork liver for my pancit recipe tomorrow.
I tool almost an hour of this market friday and able to spent almost $20 including the cake.And heres what I bought for today's market day.
