Gold barely moved today, hanging around $3,376 an ounce.

It wasn’t a big day for action—some folks bought in hope that the Fed might slow down on interest rate hikes, while others sold a bit to lock in profits after recent gains. Nothing dramatic; just the market feeling cautious but steady.

Silver was quieter, too, trading near $37.80. It didn’t do much, but the reason it stays supported is because industries keep demanding it for things like electronics and solar panels.

There isn’t a lot of extra supply either, so prices don’t easily drop. Today’s small dips are just part of the usual back and forth.

Both metals are just holding their ground without any big surprises. Investors are waiting to see what the next economic reports or policy news might bring before making big moves.
