It was an unforgettable journey)
and here is some information on this place
On the territory of Transcarpathia there are 32 lakes, but the most attractive and charming is Synevyr,
which is at the same time the largest and deepest highland lake in Ukraine.
Lake Synevyr is rightly considered the most valuable natural treasure of the National Park of the same name and one of the visiting cards of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
It is located at an altitude of 989 m above sea level.
There is a legend,
In ancient times this land belonged to a rich count, and people had to work for him grazing sheep and cows, felled the forest.
The Count's wife died after childbirth and left him a single daughter, who became his only consolation. Mother called her Xin,
because the girl was born with such light blue eyes, which seemed to be darker than the sky itself.
Xin grew up and became very beautiful, and the Earl was proud of his daughter above all else. Once the earl ordered me to take me to the mountains - I wanted to see if the loggers were working well.
And her daughter asked to accompany him. While the count was engaged in business, Xin went to the pasture to gather flowers. Suddenly the girl heard the sounds of floyara, looked around and saw the guy - he was so good at winning.
It was Vir - the shepherd. Xin went up to him, and Vir was speechless, startled by her beauty. The girl turned to him, and when she came from the pasture,
they agreed to meet here tomorrow - because they fell in love, as they say, at first sight.
A week passed, the second, Xin and Vir did not imagine life without each other, but then the father-count recognized their meeting.
His anger was no limit, and he forbade his daughter to see the shepherd and disgrace his family. However, Xin's character went to his father: it was impossible to force her to do something against her will.
And then the count ordered to kill Vir. The count's servants lurked the shepherd and threw a stone block at him from the rock.
Learning of this, Xin ran to the place where her beloved died, wrapped her arms around the stone and cried, and shed so many tears,
that there was a lake at that place. The water in the lake is clean, like a tear, and blue like the eyes of Sini, and in the middle one can see the tip of that stone block that killed her lover. And people called the lake Synevyr.
This is such a beautiful story!
