Today I decided to make a post about workflow of architectural design. For the last couple of days I have been working on a project of a private house made of timber. The order was placed online. I managed to convince the client to trust me.
Usually the orders are of different types and grades. There are urgent orders, so-called "last minute". There are sluggish orders, wich sometimes freeze, then suddenly come to life again ... Which ones do you prefer? I like "last minute" better.
Clients also come in a wide variety of types and ranks. There are people who are very confident in themselves. There are people who doubt, rush, change their minds depending on external factors. There are clients who are ready to trust an architect. And there are clients who know exactly what they want. Such people use the architect like a pencil, they explain their idea and control the specialist like a manipulator. You need to be on your guard with this type of order. Such clients usually ignore the warnings and recommendations of the specialist (architect). They do not admit their mistakes and when these mistakes become obvious, they shift the responsibility for the problem onto a specialist.
Today I just work with this type of client. He admonished firmly on certain decisions. Let me give you an example. I proposed a symmetrical form for the solution of facades. The client insisted on an asymmetric solution. Asymmetry led to a chain of other problems that had to be solved in a far-fetched way.
At this stage, I am working with a volumetric model of an object. Previously, I have always limited myself to working with 2D views, elevations, plans and sections. But working with wood building materials taught me to think in three dimensions. This helps to avoid erroneous decisions that I made when working in the design.
Now there are certain difficulties with the stairs. which I warned the client about in advance. He paused, saying that he would think about how to solve the problem. I suspect there will be some fancy and forced solution
Despite the difficulties, the project is moving through thorns to the stars, that is, to completion. If the stars are in the correct order, the project will be implemented. I treat each of my projects as my own child. Each house I have invented will have its own destiny. Someone's fate will be easy and happy, someone's thorny ... These are the laws of the world in which we live.

Сегодня я решил сделать пост о рабочем процессе. Последние пару дней я занимаюсь проектом частного дома из деревянного бруса. Заказ был размещен в интернете. Мне удалось убедить клиента довериться мне.
Заказы бывают разных типов и градаций. Есть заказы срочные, так называемые "горящие". Бывают заказы вялотекущие, эти заказы то замирают, то вдруг оживают вновь... Вы какие предпочитаете? Мне больше нравятся срочные.
Клиенты тоже бывают самых разнообразных типов и рангов. Есть люди очень уверенные в себе. Есть люди сомневающиеся, мечущиеся, меняющие свое мнение в зависимости от внешних факторов. Есть клиенты, готовые довериться архитектору. И есть клиенты твердо знающие, чего они хотят. Такие используют архитектора как карандаш, они объясняют свой замысел и управляют специалистом как манипулятором. С подобным типом заказов нужно быть настороже. Такие клиенты обычно не обращают внимания на предупреждения и рекомендации специалиста (архитектора). Они не признают своих ошибок и когда эти ошибки становятся очевидными, перекладывают ответственность за проблему на специалиста.
Сегодня я как раз работаю именно с таким типом клиента. Он твердо настаивал на определенных решениях. Приведу пример. Я предлагал симметричную форму решения фасадов. Клиент настоял на асимметричном решении. Асимметрия повлекла за собой цепочку других проблем, которые пришлось решать надуманным способом
На данном этапе я занимаюсь работой с объемной моделью объекта. Раньше я всегда ограничивался работой с двухмерными проекциями, фасадами, планами и разрезами. Но работа с деревянными строительными материалами научила меня мыслить объемно. Это помогает избежать ошибочных решений, которые я допускал при работе в проектировании
Не взирая на трудности проект движется через тернии к звездам, то есть к завершению. Если звезды сложатся в правильном порядке, проект будет реализован. К каждому своему проекту я отношусь как к своему дитя. У каждого придуманного мною дома будет своя судьба. У кого-то судьба будет легкой и счастливой, у кого-то тернистой... Таковы законы мира, в котором мы живем.
