Hi guys 
Uhmm....I can go on writing about technology, I can go on writing about games, it feels odd to write about myself, I know am not alone on this, so I'll make this very simple by first telling you what I've been, what I am and what I hope to be, hopefully you can find bits of me in the chunks of them.
Hi, I go by the name Mistakili on the chain, derived from the word Kilimanjaro, growing up I've had this notion that I wanted to have an impact on the world as huge as the mount Kilimanjaro, whatever that meant!
I had a clothing line back in 2015, it was named Kilimanjaro, I created several artworks with photoshop and printed them on Tshirts and sold them, so people began to refer to me as "the kilimanjaro guy", "hey, Mr. Kilimanjaro", the short form became Mr.kili, and just like that it stuck.
Anyway my name is Ak铆n, I was born in Nigeria, I'm a tech head in my own way, I'm 28 and I'm
sort of a game freak, especially first person shooter adventure games. I live with my dad, He's in his 70's and he doesn't believe in Bitcoin or crypto, he's that traditional, I'm only grateful because he allows me to do my thing. My elder sister is studying medicine at St.Kitts, she's our champion lol.
I regard myself as a serial writer because of my adventurous niche and style of writing.
I have a huge passion for sharing my knowledge and ideas, I also have a thing for making technical systems seem so easy, as long as I understand it. I can direct a noob to replace a motherboard and re-install the operating system successfully without even physically being there with the person nor having a computer system in my presence. I'd been in charge of fixing my household devices since I was a kid, most of which I spoilt myself in my adventures of satisfying my curiosity.
Most of the places I've worked at after my graduation have been firms where I had to take on marketing roles or responsibilities that were far from my core, coupled with the fact that I studied and have my degree in Computer science, they all drained me, my place was with the computers, I quick spun into entrepreneurship, I went into graphics design, I designed logo's for few local schools around me, that stage phased out, did a few website jobs for peanuts, I also taught teachers usage of Microsoft packages while working as IT support in a school, but it was on a contract and it ended.
My first job experience in softwares was one time when I got a job in a software company, basically they dealt with creating application specific softwares for enterprises. So some of us were testers, we had the real programmers, marketers and so on, the environment was very techy, but the managers were later caught up in some fraud and ended my entire department being fired, the company later shut down.
One of the other non computer related job's I've taken and quite enjoyed was working as a counsellor at a high school, apparently people find it easy to share their problems with me, I'm a very good listener and a projector, so imagine having to consistently project more than 10 people's energy in a day, it was draiiiining, even though all I needed was time to recharge, it wasn't fulfilling, that phased out as well, I've also taken voluntary teaching jobs along the way, non were fulfilling, till I started exploring the waves of my creativity writing on the steem blockchain.
I started my journey on the blockchain in December 2017, I started off with writing poetry, then I phased into lifestyle, I used to write short stories too, one of my favorite short stories go by the title "Pact with the grave", then later on I began to write about financial technology, gaming, Reggae, movies, its been an awesome ride all the way, I've been a load of entertainment and information to my readers, I love the room for freedom, flexibility and growth, its like I'm making ice-cream with my creative juices, the engagements and support from the community have been orgasmic which I'm super grateful for. So my love for writing and the potential to earn led me here, then the technology and the community kept me.
For 2 years now my writing's have centered more around technology and I started off by writing reviews on Utopian which is no longer operational, then I participated in many Oracle-D contests and Catered contents contests, they were so much fun, writing didnt just help me express myself, it connected me with people I share similarities with in ideal and vibe from all around the world. I've evolved, I've learned and I'm still learning.
Through my participation on the blockchain I've also been able to grow a portfolio of crypto holdings, most of which was earned by writing, I'm not the buy a lambo type of guy, I just want to be able to self sustain, so if my holdings have a turn around and hit a bull, I'd most likely keep invested, after a two week shopping spree in Milan.
I'm a dog lover, my dad was gifted a puppy when I was born so we pretty much grew together, the way I bond with dogs is out of this place, Its almost as if I can interpret their emotions, I've had so much experiences with dogs both happy and sad ones. I'm pretty sure my spirit animal will be a wolf, more like a wolverine because of my fascination for solitude and the way my beards grow. Lol.
That's a neighbours dog, a boerboel, it surprised the owner how I could stand so close to it without it being hostile towards me, I had already sent the dog signals with doggy person tongue hehe, the owner couldn't decipher. All the dogs that we ever owned are now dead from old age, that's the saddest part of owning a dog.
I'm very interested in self development and improvement, reading a lot of books has contributed to that so far. If I'm not reading something, then I'm curating or writing. I watch movies when I need to distract myself. The only sport I properly engage with is swimming even though I have a weird phobia for water, any area filled with water and the water is more than an Olympic size swimming pool, I don't want to go there.
I intend to keep creating content on Hive, growing and expanding in all ramifications, I intend to use this medium as an opportunity to play my role in service of the greater good by creating contents that will inspire someone's journey or positively impact the community and contribute towards the success of this ecosystem, hopefully, then maybe through my acquired experience I can be of higher service to someone and maybe gradually my everything will begin to create impact on the world as huge as Mount Kilimanjaro. I'm pleased to meet you all again, its a pleasure to be here.
