I guess we are all explorers in some respect. That is what brings me here anyway, the explorer aspect of myself.
Idle like a vehicle or whatever not moving. Mistaken is pretty self explanatory. Makes me sound like a predator stalking prey, but my nature is often framed as the opposite, carefully and silently trying to get away from predators, or developing defense against them while they think I am not moving or taking any action against them. It's a good strategy both ways, in battle and in games of all kinds.
Revealing much about myself is not something I take lightly. I tend to spread small fragments here and there.
I want to learn about this platform and may choose to do more later on who knows.
For now, this is my platform of choice for all things fictional.
I think sometimes we need to take a brake from stressful forces vying for our attention, adherence and our other vital resources without meaningful return. Not that this would be different in any monetized profit driven market place but I am mentally compartmentalizing that line of thought for now.
It is more the security (It would take a long essay to unpack that abstraction) that attracts me to explore steemit as a place to host the short stories and thought experiments. I guess relative to me, it is part of relaxation. Relative to other's perspective, I can't really talk on that. I think that is for you to decide. I just hope to inspire and I'm sure I'll be inspired.
As for genre's I don't know because maximizing our insight probably involves exploring genre's which is usually not easily marketable but since that is not my goal here I care little.
I prefer science fiction and fantasy movies myself but I actually prefer to read non-fiction historical, scientific, theoretical and applied technology sort of stuff IRL
