Ice rock mining takes over cloud mining? New mining website! [UPDATED]
Ice rock mining is a cloud mining company which is going to be located in a rock cave in Kazakhstan.
This cave as they say has temperature around 12°C (53.6 °F) during whole year which should solve the cooling and save a lot of money. They are planning to have 5000 ASICs Antminer S9 which will produce a lot of heat and the question is if the cave will even be capable of maintaining the temperature and won't slowly change in volcano from ice rock...
I really like the idea of ico and their token because it is the easiest way of raising money in crypto nowadays. Main advantage of this ico is that it lasts long what should give them enough time and funds to set up the whole farm.
I am not quite sure when the actual mining starts though. In their road map there is written that the mining contracts have already started selling and the first payments (paid monthly) are being paid. But at the end of their road map there is written "start mining" I am confused a bit here so if you could explain I would be happy.
I would be disappointed if they mined only BTC because there is much more coins which I would like to mine. I am always a bit scared when I see some crypto project not located Switzerland or other pro-crypto country but I have read that Kazakhstan is planning to have its own cryptocurrency which means that they should not regulate this project!
There is picture with its main features. Long story short free cooling (because of the cave), cheap electricity (3cents per KW/h), no rent (they bought it already) and lifetime profit (reinvesting 20% of all profit to mining setup, sustainability).
This project really impressed me and I am considering investing in it. The negatives are that they are going to mine BTC only and sometimes lack of information but that may be just me ;))
