Today I played a truly amazing and memorable battle in Splinterlands. I have been wanting to play such a high-mana battle for a long time, and today's match seemed to provide just such an opportunity. The match had a 65 mana cap, which is quite rare and very interesting in the game. With so much mana, you get a great opportunity to build a team with all the powerful cards you want. However, having more mana is not enough, the real challenge is to create a strategy keeping in mind the battle rules or modifiers of the battle in mind.
Today's battle had two main modifiers or battle rules. The first was 'Outsider', which allowed the use of 1 wild unit. And the second was 'No Man's Land', which completely prohibited the use of any human or human-species archons and units. Considering these rules, I thought carefully and chose the 'Eternal Tofu' card as my summoner or archon. This 7 mana Archon gave my team units an extra 2 health, which was very useful for surviving the opponent's attacks.
My main goal when setting up the team was to use magic attacks as the main tool. According to the game rules, magic attacks usually directly hit the opponent's health and can bypass armor. So I set up high-mana and strong magic attack units in the backline and placed a strong tank or defensive unit in front to block the opponent's early attacks.
When the cards faced each other on the field at the beginning of the battle, I was quite scared by the opponent's lineup. The opponent also had a pretty strong team and the speed of their attacks made it seem like it would be very difficult to win the match. The fight was very even for the first two rounds. My frontline tanks were enduring one after another from the opponent, while my backline magic attackers were gradually putting pressure on the enemy.
The real turning point of the game began to take place around the third and fourth rounds. My team remained on the field thanks to the additional health bonus provided by my Archon 'Eternal Tofu' and the decisions made in the tactics stage. On the other hand, my team's successive powerful magic attacks pierced the armor of the opponent's main units, directly reducing their health and destroying them one by one. In the game that I had almost given up hope of winning, I suddenly saw that the opponent's entire resistance had collapsed due to my well-planned strategy and my team was beginning to dominate.
Finally, after the fourth round, the result of the game became clear and the much-awaited word—'VICTORY!' appeared on the screen. With this great victory, I gained 20 rating points and advanced one step further to the Gold 3 League. Along with that, I also earned several glints and reward tokens. Although I hesitated at first, I was able to win the match in my favor due to the correct Archon selection and specific strategy centered on magic attacks. As a gamer, the feeling of winning such a tough fight is truly beyond words.
