To build a strong position in any battle it is very important to have a good strategy for that battle properly understand the rulesets and select your monsters accordingly. If you do this your victory becomes more likely and you can give your opponent a big surprise. That is why it is very important to understand the rulesets properly in every battle because the first step toward victory is understanding these rulesets.

Today's 45 mana battle was very interesting where my opponent also selected some very powerful monsters and we got to see an excellent and exciting battle.

Before I share my strategy and explain which monsters I selected it is important to first understand which rulesets appeared in this battle and according to which I adopted my strategy and plan.

RULESET 1 : ARMORED UP

This is a ruleset in which all units whether they belong to the allied team or the enemy team will receive an additional +2 Armor. This means that whether a unit or monster already has Armor or not every unit will receive an additional 2 Armor.

So this is an advantageous modifier that makes your defensive line stronger.

What strategy should you adopt according to this ruleset? You should focus on monsters with high Health high Armor and high attack power so that you can get a three-in-one combination. Also try to select the best cards from your deck.

RULESET 2: HEAL OUT

According to this ruleset units and Archons will lose the abilities that are responsible for restoring Health.

For example if we have a unit with a healing ability that ability will become useless under this ruleset. Similarly if an Archon or monster has a power that provides a healing ability that will also become useless.

So according to this ruleset instead of focusing on monsters with healing abilities you should try to ignore such monsters and once again focus on monsters with strong powers so that you can build a strong position on the battlefield.

Keeping these two rulesets in mind I adopted a carefully planned strategy and decided which monsters I should give preference to.

STRATEGY AND MONSTER SELECTION

Because this is a high Armor battle where all units receive an additional +2 Armor the best counterattack is to select an Archon monster with the +1 Magic Power ability.

So I selected an Archon monster with the +1 Magic Power ability. This means that whichever Magic monsters I select all of them will receive an additional +1 Magic Power. Their attacks will bypass Armor and directly hit the enemy's Health.

In the second position I selected a strong Tank monster with 5 Armor and 5 Health. It has an excellent ability to absorb damage.

After that I selected my Ranged Attacker in the next position so that it could continue attacking while staying in that position.

I also selected a combination of Magic and Melee attackers which is again a high-Health monster and will work as a secondary tank for me.

After that my main focus was to select a combination of Magic and Ranged attackers so that I could also create an aggressive stance. That is why I selected Magic and Ranged attackers in the third and fourth positions so that they could continuously attack enemy units in every round.

Finally I selected another Magic attacker because selecting as many Magic attackers as possible was very important for my strategy.

ON THE BATTLE FIELD

When I looked at my lineup and the enemy's lineup on the battlefield I became quite confused because my opponent had also lined up some very powerful monsters. His Archon ability was +1 Speed which meant that his attacks could be faster and more reliable.

So the battle started in a very exciting way. We could see strong attacks from both teams.

During Round 1 and Round 2 both teams made powerful attacks because all the units had good Health. That is why no unit was eliminated during the first two rounds.

But as soon as Round 3 started two enemy units were eliminated while one of my units was also eliminated.

Since my Tank monster was destroyed I was quite concerned about this. However my secondary monster took over the Tank position and managed to hold its ground.

As soon as Round 4 started another one of my monsters was eliminated and the battle became 3 versus 3. Until this point the battle was still quite confusing because it was difficult to tell which side had the stronger position.

But as soon as Round 5 began only two enemy units were left alive while three of my powerful units were still alive. All of them had good Health and Armor remaining.

At this point I started feeling that the battle was now turning in my favor.

At the end of Round 5 another enemy unit was eliminated and the battle became 1 versus 3. Since the opponent's last unit did not have any attack power my victory in this battle became almost certain.

Finally during the last stage of Round 6 all the remaining enemy units were eliminated. In this way I achieved a great victory in this battle.

And this is the biggest reason behind my victory: I properly understood these rulesets and created my monster selection and battle plan accordingly. This correct strategy helped me achieve victory in the battle.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monsters would you give preference to? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
