Egypt at least has an excuse, what will be England's'?

Three games played, and three straight loses! After losing to Uruguay in their opening World Cup fixture, and then to Hosts, Russia in their second match, Egypt today in what was supposed to be some kind consolation match, coming into it on the back of elimination, still lost to Saudi Arabia.

It is a resounding exit from the prestigious tournament in which they, under the talismanic Mohammed Salah were expected to star. For those who have followed their matches, Egypt has performed comparatively well in those games but still gone ahead to lose in such a manner as leaves one wondering why? Well, wonder no more. The bible, apparently has the fate of the Pharaohs already prophesized:

So before you start blaming the Pharaohs, read Isaiah 19:3 (Good News Translation). But what will be England's excuse? I have searched all books and history, and there is no prophecy. So lets keep out swords crossed for their first loss and crucify all of them. I wonder when! (the media!)

Arsenal FC takes part in world cup!

FIFA is investigating how English Premier League club, Arsenal FC managed to take part in the World Cup as Panama. Reports coming out of Russia suggest that Arsenal players were swapped to Play against England in the 6:1 loss on Sunday, following from a fairer showing against Belgium where they lost by 3.

Anyway, whereas Ozil struggles, Harry Kane at least got his first world cup hatrick. Apparently North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur can't just can't stop getting under the skin of their rivals Arsenal FC whether it is the Premier League or in the World cup.

And now back to memory lane!

Do you remember during High school years, during those boring math and physics lessons when that smart ass teacher would pump those jargons and laws, you would basically just doze off before the half hour mark…. Well, it used to happen to me a lot.

The physics lessons were the worst, how do you even cram all those laws from Archimedes to Newton’s laws of motion? Anyway, it happened to me one day, and if you know our schools back here in Uganda, well, a if a teacher asks you a question and you get t wrong, that is one lash of the cane. It is worse if he or she catches you dozing.

So trust you me, I was burned when in that late afternoon lesson after eating one too many Fried Cassava and bogged down by Carbohydrates. I dozed away when after what seemed like eternity, I felt a prick of the stick on my shoulder.

With a smug ‘caught you’ face, my fate was sealed when he asked a question, of course expecting me to fail and take some dose of his canes. So without waiting for me to regain some clarity, he asked straight away, stick dangling above my head ready to strike!

Teacher: What is the unit of power, equivalent to one joule per second?

Me, surprised and trying to prevaricate: ‘What?”

Teacher, sighing, obviously disappointed but nothing to do!: Oh, Okay. Very good! The answer is Watt. Class repeat after her;

Me: What?

Class: What?

A miraculous escape from the cane!

This is only satirical, meant to break some ribs. Don't take any of it seriously!
