Remember the case I talked about in my former post??
We won the case!
So yesterday was the D-day for the moot competition.
I got nervous at some point but I had to pull through that, because?? It's today.
What needs to be done gats to be done,lol.
So I and my Team represented the Respondent in the case.
It was a civil case.
We won the case against the Appellant.
The appellant was a record label.
Though it was an appeal case,where the trial court already ruled in the favour of the respondent.
The appellant was not satisfied with the judgment of the high court so they proceeded to the court of appeal.
It was such an interesting and complex case on contract law.
I've learnt so much about contract law, it's a course I will offer in my sophomore year. But I've done it now. Which has allowed me to get hands-on-experience on contract law.
I'm glad I got to get this experience and it's absolutely beautiful.
From making appearance,to court room etiquette, everything's just beautiful.
I've always had this flair for public speaking/advocacy.
It's a very beautiful thing by the way.
This undergraduate age is the period to learn as much as possible.
Gather enough knowledge and information.
The first academic year is close to ending. We will write our exams.
Omor, it's not easy.
But with God,all things are possible.
Our exam is around the corner.
I pray that God will continue to help us.
Even when it becomes difficult.
