One week ago I went to a flower shop to look for a plant I wanted to buy. Kalanchoe Lucky Bells, a succulent that I own, thanks to 
Anyway, the visit to that flower shop was very nice and pleasant. Many phalaenopsis, so colorful ones, but also cacti and succulents, presented in a creative way. I really liked those small hanging decorative pots and the cute succulents in them. An interesting detail, those who have a small terrace with plants can get ideas on how to decorate it even more beautifully. Both the hanging glass ball and the knitted basket caught my eye. As well, the hanging white clay pots from the first photo.
Another interesting detail that I saw... these two cacti that had this white cobweb around them. I know it's not a cobweb, but I imagine it as soft as if it were. It also looks like an old man with torn gray hair. I see thorns under that white mass, so it wouldn't be wise to try how soft that hair is. Just the observation, and a picture ... as I really liked these specimens.
Cacti were always present in our homes, my grandmother had many of them, as well my mother. I have some of them that I found here and there and then I planted them in a pot. The most challenging thing with cacti is to plant them, because of the thorns. I always end up having some of them under my skin. And, although the cacti with big thorns look really frightening, those with the small thorns are more insidious. You don't even notice them, and a thorn is already under the skin of your fingertip. Well, one has to be used to them. The care for them is more than easy, as they are real survivors. But, you have to take care not to water them too much, not to expose them to cold, and the soil should be maybe a mixture of sand and soil.
In the end, here is the Kalanchoe I went for there but didn't buy it. I am wondering will the flowers of my one be this nice as well. I hope so, and even if not, I will love them. A promise is here, the flowers will come here to be shown when they bloom!
