A day surrounded by trees, plants, and sunshine? Ok, not completely surrounded by trees, as that would mean I spent my day somewhere in a deep forest, however, I stumbled upon some nice ones, and it made me feel their presence. I think some rocks would also like to become trees - I will try to help them in this process, although you already know what I am going to say about my rock paintings... hahaha, well, I should better keep this comment to myself 馃槀, and see which trees or plants are visiting us today.
First, some poor succulents are coming here. Yeah, I found one plant that lived in the same community pot with these ones, fully affected by mealybugs. No alcohol would help as they were even on the roots. I saw that when I pulled it out from the soil, so I decided to take out everything, throw the plant (just a Lucky Bell, but I have many young ones), also throw the soil and plant these succulents into a new soil and pot. That is how it looks at the moment. Then we went for a walk...
Just take vitamin C and vitamin D, and everything will be fine. I wish this would be the answer my doctor would give me tomorrow after my appointment, but I am not sure these will be the only recommendations. Maybe she will tell me I shouldn't have come, that this is normal with age, the pain one can have in the hip and leg, although I doubt it. This started a while ago, a few months ago perhaps but I tried to ignore it. It has intensified in the last few weeks. The physiotherapist will also see me tomorrow afternoon, then I will know better what I should do. Anyway, I took vitamin C today, as recommended by this mural, and also vitamin D. Did you know that one of the sources of vitamin D is sunlight?
I have seen how white my skin is. This doesn't look good, being so white, so while I was around my succulents this morning, I also tidied up the balcony a bit and went outside to sunbathe.
The sun was also pleasant during our walk. I know, I promised some trees. Here they come.
The olive trees - this is quite normal to see here. But I especially loved the leaves of this tree. It was so beautiful and tender; its leaves are like small, wrinkled sheets, a soft green color.
Our next guest in this post is a blue butterfly. What does it have to do with plants? 馃槀 Nothing, it just lives in the Aloe Vera pot, moves with the wind, and yes, we are now on my balcony where I enjoyed some vitamin D intake and rock painting!!! 馃槂
One simple pebble brought from the seashore, where it has been soaked in water for so long. Can it give life to a little tree now, with wrinkled branches?
Lines and dots were arriving, in not-so-usual colours for a tree. 馃槀
Until I finished it (and it didn't last for a long time), the sun had set behind the clouds. I guess it was the sign that I got enough vitamin D and that I should go inside and find a spot for this new kindness rock.
Hmm, I think they look alike, this succulent and the new kindness rock, don't you think? I just saw the resemblance when I placed the rock there. They are family now. 馃槆
