School Plants and Aloe Vera update!!!

Hello succulents fans.

I haven’t written in this community for a month or so, although I often meet plants and flowers on walks so I sometimes post them.

Today I will show you some plants we have on the patio of the school where I give piano lessons. So it is a small school, and there is one place between the classes where some pots with flowers are living their happy life. I say happy life as the director of the school nicely takes care of them. Also, I don't know is it true or not, I heard the plants like to listen to classical music. Is the music we play with our students responsible for their good shape?

If that's true, then my houseplants should look better too, but they're on the balcony so maybe my music doesn't reach that far. And when I mention my balcony, I promised to post an update of my aloe vera plant. But first, let us see the school plants.

We have there Adromischus cristatus, a little bit bigger than the one I have got at home.

Some cacti are there also. I hope the students don't touch them hahah, although some curious students always find the opportunity to touch the other plants.

Some pots give a home to Echeveria pulvinata which has one tiny red flower. I took the photos already in late evening today, so there was not enough light and I just hope you can see the small flower on it.
Also, there is a nice Crassula Ovata in a nice yellow pot!

Big aloe vera plants are also there (three of those big ones, I made a photo just of one pot, there are other two also.) It has some small babies, look at them.

Getting back to update of my home Aloe Vera.

If you remember, I asked for help with it. I complained that it had got brown leaves, and they were sticky. I appreciate all the help I received and listened to all of them! So some nice pieces of advice were given, for example, that it needs more water, that maybe have pests and I should check it and if yes that I should spray it with the mixture of water and dishwashing liquid, and shower it afterwards. Also, neem oil was mentioned, but as I first tried the home-made mixture and it gave results, I was happy. So here is what I have done:

I made the mixture as @ludmila.kyriakou told me and I sprayed it. Left for one or two hours and showered with warm water. As the pot is big I just left it in the shower, I thought I will get it to the balcony a bit later.

But days passed and I just let it there, and you know what. The leaves get greener, the sticky thing disappeared and after exactly one week I repeated the process, dishwashing liquid and showering. A miracle happened as the plant is a lot better now.

Also, I listened to @hive-183841 to look in the roots and give maybe new soil and pot. I removed some of the old soil and brought it more quantity of new soil, again from under one carob tree I found in the abandoned orchard.

So it looks like this now. There are still some brown stains, but it looks greener and healthier now. I will listen to @ewkaw also, giving it more water once and then leave it for a few days without.

That is what I am doing now, I think all the help I received here contributed to the improvement. Those brown stains can not go away, as they are like scars. But new leaves will replace them as grow.
