Before this month ends, I would like to thank everyone who participated in this month's theme with their interesting findings. Benches... who would have thought that photos of benches would come in handy one day, right, for a collection in this community on Hive! Funny thing!

For me, it was more than interesting to see this public furniture from all over the world; they came from several continents, thanks to all of you who decided to participate and bring benches from the places you live in or have visited in the past.

But with that, the bench theme still hasn't finished for me. Although I already brought my contribution at the beginning of the month, a few weeks ago I saw a cute bench in someone's yard while we were walking one of our usual routes. I took a photo (although it felt a bit strange taking a photo through the fence of someone's yard) and thought maybe another collection would come from me until the end of the month.

Led by that idea, I decided to take a few photos of these benches when I spent my afternoon at the beach (the day the seagull stole my dinner 馃槅). These were all on the promenade and close to the seashore. The concrete benches are the newest ones placed there, and I mentioned them in my previous post too.

However, my favourite is the white bench on the playground. We have a family photo with this bench, taken many years ago. Here it comes without us, just the bench.

The following bench can be used if you happen to come to one of the buildings of the hospital to do some blood tests... First you faint inside and then you rest a little here to come back to life. 馃槄

If you decide to escape from there to a safe place where nobody can find you, the library is a good place for that. It seems that many people were expected to spend their time here reading, as there were a lot of these orange seats... I prefer to borrow the books and take them home. I think my seats are a bit more comfortable. Anyway, I liked their design and the colour.

Then last Wednesday, when my husband was admitted to the hospital for his surgery, I needed to go out to buy something. It was very close by; you can hardly call it a walk because of how little time I spent outside, but I tried to walk in the shade among the trees as it was quite a hot day. Benches were there, yes. 馃摳 The collection in my phone was growing.

Since then, I almost didn't go out, but today I had to run some errands. That is when all these benches came to the gallery of my phone, until the very last one in this post. It is easy to find them on the streets if you look around while walking. One of them had an interesting inscription.

This is where our snacks, our laughter, and our children grew up.

It is also easy to find them in parks; moreover, here it was easy to find them in different styles, from modern, minimalistic to normal ones, and also in mosaic styles.

These are very nice ones. There are two sections in this park with these benches:

A little further, there is a little square where you can rest if you wish. Well, I didn't have time to do that, but some elderly people enjoyed the shade this morning.

Another square, more benches - this wasn't a very deep shade, but the roof over the benches gave an interesting visual effect. It makes you dizzy if you look at the lines for a long time...

Although I didn't have time to check their comfort today, these benches gathered to make another collection. With that, it is time to finish this post, and if you just found out about this monthly theme and want to participate, there is still one day left in July for that. 馃槈
