These days, life is rushing at a high speed. Yes, I'm on vacation, at least that's how it is supposed to be, but the days are full of activities. That's good, of course.
Yesterday we rode the bike at that quick pace; I think we increased the average speed at which my niece and I pedalled... I had a little help, a secret ingredient that allowed me to have more energy. A perfect outfit for this activity.
She gave me a T-shirt that would be so suitable for the theme we had in July in the Hive Collectors community, however this time it was used for cycling. I hope you like it as much as I did!
This T-shirt, the bike I had the other day (the same one hahaha), a backpack with a small umbrella in it as it was raining in the afternoon before we went on the short cycling trip, a piece of scone that found itself in the backpack and a sweater which I didn't use in the end went together with me and my cycling mate until the next village and one old resort with thermal waters. It is called Spa Junakovic. All in all, we made 15,6 km. Not that much and we were quick. Though there was one longer stop, I will tell you the reason soon.
We had a good very good time together while cycling and the weather was also perfect. There was no wind and no sun, just cloudy and fresh enough not to sweat a lot, like the other day. For the whole route, we used the bike lane between the fields and the road. Like life in itself, some parts were excellent and others not so perfect, but ok.
The sound of the crickets coming from the fields was so melodic. Maybe they were announcing the sunset of the day and reminding us not to stay for too long time outside of the town. But I had to stop a few times - of course, for justified reasons. 馃榿
Wouldn't you stop too in case you see a field with herons and storks?
They didn't wait for me though... the storks flew away a bit when I got closer to take a picture of them.
Next stop - to drink water. The bike lane in this part was super good and smooth as you can also see.
The third and most important pause in this ride is approaching now... We took the road toward the Junakovic resort and in one moment, while passing these fields I saw something moving there, in the crop.
A cat!!!
It was an immediate decision to stop and check them out. One mom cat and two small kitties were hiding there, probably abandoned or lost. The scone in my backpack found its perfect purpose; it became the dinner for these little ones when we tore that scone into small pieces and dropped it near the cats. When we left, they came out and ate what we left for them.
The white cat with black and ginger spots is the mom cat. They were too shy and afraid to come out more than that. We could not stay there forever... we had to leave, but we visited the old helicopter parked near the Spa before we turned back and went home.
P.S. The plan is to visit the cat family again these days... 馃毚鈥嶁檧
