Christmas Eve is almost here. Only a few more hours and dinner will be on the table, with my little family. Since it is our tradition to eat fish on this date, it will be on the menu, but it will be codfish from the oven instead of fish stew... we don't have freshwater fish (carp) this year which is the main ingredient of the fish stew. Maybe the Silent Night song will be heard from somewhere, and that will be nice, but unfortunately, after that, the night will not be silent for me. That's how it is when you are a musician, work is work.
The day also went a bit chaotic, you know how it goes before this big holiday, you have to provide all the necessary ingredients for the upcoming lunches and you also have to find Santa Claus somewhere and agree with him what to leave under the tree. It is always a task that takes quite a while and the rocks... 馃槺 my Christmas Kindness Rocks are still undecorated.
It would be very irresponsible and frivolous of me not to bring my share of the work that was suggested in the Kindness Rocks Community. I will not write down all the reasons why I didn't have time to make them earlier, there is no room for rants here, just for some colours on the rocks.
Just so you know: mine won't have a lot of details and won't be too pretty or artistic, like those that certain Hive artists sometimes paint on rocks. My Christmas Kindness Rocks will be pretty simple, with a Christmas greeting and small Christmas-related items. A Christmas tree, Santa's hat, a star, or a snowman.
I didn't have time to paint the rocks in white or other colour as a base. They just stayed in their natural outfit and received these short Christmas greetings. When I thought about this initiative, I had in mind even the most simple decoration (like mine 馃榿) with a few words that would accompany the drawings. We don't have to be painters or real artists to do this activity. It is more about fun and kindness, shown through rocks.
I wrote in various languages the simplest Christmas greetings:

I picked the languages randomly as some of the languages I have in my surroundings. I checked the translator to be sure about some (like the Dutch one - it was challenging) and saw Chinese and Japanese. For fun I wanted to try to write 鍦ｈ癁蹇箰 source but no way I could write it down so I ditched the idea 馃槄. Anyway, some of the pebbles were small so I would need magnifying glasses to write and read that Christmas wish.
