Woof, woof ( in English: Hello, hello everyone )
Woof woof woof, woooooof, woof wooooof woooooooooof ( I decided to participate in TBT as I saw some photos of myself when I was small...)
... maybe I should write this post instead of this black beauty. He wanted to present himself and introduce this post but it will be less confusing if I skip his barking and directly write about him a few lines.
He is my parents' dog. It means we could call him today TheirDog, but let's call him MiDog. After all, his real name starts with the letter M, but I know that it would be confusing to call him that way. That is why I have picked this pseudonym for him, MiDog, to make things less complicated for the visitors of this post. Hmm... I hope there will be some visitors and not everyone will run away from this doggy. Don't be afraid - he doesn't bite... he is a good boy. And a really old one.
He was one and a half years old in the first two photos that opened this post. I found these pictures a long time ago on my laptop but I didn't have new ones to make a comparison of how he looks now. Until now, when I managed to take a few fresh pictures even if it is not that easy. It is a fast, black, moving blanket.

...It is just the years that changed. He is 13, in dog years. In human years it would mean much more, something like 70 or 80 years old. His appearance also reveals the signs of getting old (grey hair for example) but the behaviour sometimes too. He hears just what he wants to hear. 馃槀
He has been loved and taken care of very well. Usually, English Cocker Spaniels are stubborn and very active, they need a lot of care around their hair and ears - that is a weak point... He had to be treated many times for ear infections. About being stubborn, MiDog is not that crazy and tough. Just the opposite, as he is intelligent, obedient and has some solid habits that can't be missed. If skipped... maybe he would show the stubborn side of this breed. 馃榿
More differences between the young MiDog and the old MiDog can be noticed in his mobility. Although he still runs quickly and with agility especially when someone passes by the house and he likes to show who is the boss behind the fence, he completely avoids using staircases.
It happened a few years ago. He slipped when coming down from the upper floor and fell down a few stairs. Since then, he no longer wants to go upstairs in the house or to the basement. (the exception is the wide stairs that lead from the garden to the balcony, he is not afraid to use these ones).
What has never changed, since he was small, is his loyalty and love toward the family, especially my dad. For other things, he trusts my mother the most (washing his eyes and snout every day and taking medicine from her if needed for something).
Ah, and he still speaks the same language as when he was small, basically, he likes to say these greetings to all of you: Woof, woof!
