When it comes to pencils, I like the Blackwing 602s. Their lines are dark, almost like a ball-point pen, and they flow over the paper like butter on a hot skillet. To sharpen pencils, I like the Kum sharpener.

I've been busy too. The biggest thing to happen in Steemit webcomics in the past few months is Pinky and Spiky cartoon contests. I think the contests are a good way to get more Steemians drawing webcomics.

Do you do your initial inking with India ink? Are you using a special ball-point pen? I didn't think that ink from most ball-point pens was waterproof. I don't have much experience with water color painting.
