The Minimalist community presents It's More or Less the Best, a curation compilation highlighting some outstanding blogs published over the past week.

These selected authors shared their personal stories and views on different aspects of their minimalist lifestyle, giving some insight into what the style of living involves.

This compilation is presented to help shine the spotlight on the selected posts, with the hope that you will take a look at them in case you missed any.

Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.

I don't need more. (KISS BLOG) by honeydue@honeydue

My impression of stores has changed. Like most kids, I used to find it fun, to go shopping with my friends, and get new dresses and things that'd look cute. Now, I avoid it like the plague. The last few times I ventured into a shopping mall, it was to get some art supplies. Now, when a friend tells me about the things they're buying, they feel so meaningless.

Packing Up Our Whole Lives - Again. 馃摝馃摝馃摝 by riverflows@riverflows

Though it's six months away, I'm constantly thinking that whatever I buy now, has to be useful for the trip, from t-shirts to trainers, scarves to toiletries. I think we'll have to send a big bag ahead with wetsuits and so on, but that'll be worth it when we're there. Anything else we can buy when we are over there (England has shops too).

It's A Simple Life For Me by trucklife-family@trucklife-family

For sure, I would have liked to have gotten some of the things they got. But as I got older and especially when I began to spend more time away from my family, what I wanted, was to have a home that I felt safe in. A home where I felt loved and that is not something you can buy.

Rewards of reducing unnecessary expenses by jemima1996@jemima1996

We had nowhere to keep anything that had to be refrigerated, so we opted to buy the day-to-day so that nothing would be damaged. This made us spend a lot of money and also we did not eat well, sometimes it was more rapid a sandwich than a complete and healthy meal.
We did the math and in a short time, we spent the money we needed to repair the refrigerator, and then a lot more.

I Have Always Had A Great Tendency Of A Minimalist by funshee@funshee

My minimalist lifestyle started a long time ago. As far back as I could remember my very existence.
I remember graduating from college and on getting home my sister was asking why my bag was so small. Where are all my clothes and other forms of belongings? And I told her that was all my clothes and belongings. She gave me a kind of look that even after many years is still fresh in my memory.

Bits and Bobs by itsostylish@itsostylish

I live amongst mounds of buttons, zips, pins, studs, and thousands of itsy bitsy pieces of fabric that are just big enough to "possibly" make something out of but too small to justify the collection. I鈥檓 a junkie. I collect material, and my stash fills every cupboard (where clothes should hang), every shelf (where linen should be folded), and any available corner in almost every room in my house.
Is this a minimalist trend, I ask myself, or is it the exact opposite?

Extremes are dangerous by germanandradeg@germanandradeg

I loved minimalism. It seemed to me a coherent, practical, and healthy philosophy of life. I didn't want to accumulate unnecessary things that only took up space and generated clutter.
I only kept what I needed and what made me happy. A closet, a bed, a laptop, a phone, a backpack, and a bike.

Some tips

馃敻 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

馃敻 If possible we recommend that authors try to use personal photos, however, if free images from the internet are used, please be sure to cite all relevant sources for photos and text.

馃敻 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

馃敻 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

馃敻 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.

Thank you for checking out the #MoreOrLessTheBest Curation Compilation presented by The Minimalist. This is the new official community account, where the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas and all community events and activities will be published from.
I invite you all to get involved and share your stories about minimalism, and perhaps you would like to invite someone.
