What is your opinion on the man's reason?

I would say that the MAN is completely confused about the WOMAN. Maybe he has feelings but is confused if he really wants her or not. That's why he went away and saw that he cant so came back and went away again. In these situations, I think one should be confident enough to hold hands for eternity and the rest is up to the Almighty. If one is not sure about someone then they shouldn't make any decision that might make things worse.
