The problem with most secret Santas is they are not secret and they are not santas. There is always some teacher or some boss arranging the secret santas and making sure that everybody is fair and nice. Sometimes it is random but many times the secret santas are arranged. In the end everybody knows who it is or finds out eventually.

This is the place to write secret Santa Letters. Nobody knows exactly who the author is. You can post an article explaining the good points of one author on Hive. Maybe you could even share some of that author's posts and some links. Then give a Seasonal greeting and some good wishes.
The secret santa problem is solved through @blindsubmit.
Here authors submit posts anonymously. Proofofblind has drawn some attention from curators recently and if the post is written well there is opportunity for big rewards. One of the newest rewards is the VYB token. Authors who post through Blind submit are rewarded with VYB.
What can you give someone who has everything in the world? How do you know you are not wasting your money getting them something they already have? You never know. And if you give them something they don't need you will never find out because they will never tell you.
Give them a picture or a video. If you can't draw a picture then take a picture next to the Christmas tree. Be creative or just be a punk. Write a poem or sing a song. Make it fun and simple.
Share the love because that's what the season was supposed to be.
If you don't have time then make something fun on picsart using public domain sources.
OK. It's not completely altruistic. You will be rewarded by Proofofblind who will share 85% of the post pay out to the original author. So you send a present to one Hiver and you get the reward. Wow!!
Just remember:
Make sure your post is original with completely no plagiarism.
Send a note to one person you want to send some holiday cheer.
Remember to leave them a shout out on the post so they can find it.
Here's an example of a secret santa letter:

Dear Galenkp,
I know this is supposed to be a secret Santa letter through Proofofblind but I couldn't resist just writing you a letter on my blog. After all you are the one who inspired me with the idea after reading this stupid secret santa article here @galenkp.
I thought I should take a minute before the end of the year and thank you for keeping Hive a live and engaged each weekend. I have the hardest time to write anything during the weekend but each weekend you gave me a prompt and incentive to write.
I wanted to visit you in the bush but travel is difficult these days. My sleigh isn't what it used to be. I also have a ton of work and classes to teach. This is keeping me from the wild lands of Australia.
Thank you for opening your heart to us already. I hope you can find a little bit of true Christmas regardless of religious fanfare and traditional hodgepodge. Wishing you comfort and joy.
Your Friend,
Not so Secret Santa
(Don't sign your name at the bottom. That just would ruin the surprise wouldn't it?.)
I'm leaving you with this picture of my cell phone taking a picture of a Christmas tree ornament. I use this cell phone to take most of my pictures. Can you guess whose face is behind that cell phone?
I guess I'm not such a secret santa, but you can be and send a greeting to somebody in incognito through @proofofblind.
