Pepero Day is a completely consumer holiday in Korea but it comes at a perfect time. Right before the big exams in Korea this is a kind of pick me up on November 11th.
Pepero snacks are shaped like the number one so when stacked up they make 11.11 which according to the snack company means November 11th is Pepero Day. It is tradition to give the one you love a box of these pepero snacks on November 11th.
There is even a song about it. I'm adding this song to my holiday playlist.
November 11th Pepero Day
The day you exchange Pepero with the person you love
It's for you. Only for you.
Pepero Day
I'll give you pretty Pepero with love
November 11th Pepero Day
The day you exchange Pepero with the person you love
It's for you. Only for you.
Pepero Day
I hope you enjoy the Pepero I give with love
