Am I the only one who prefers green to red? Whenever I pushed the publish button on Hive I had to push some kind of red button. To me red indicates correction and strong warning. Among all the design features I ran into on Hive this was the most difficult to handle. PeakD has an amazing array of features, but the basic red color is not going away. I guess youtube likes red as well so it's not a bad color.
At times like this I try to remember green. It has been a couple years since I took these pictures but here are a couple green pictures I never published before. The rainy season in Korea begins and I'm not one for jumping out and taking pictures in the rain but I know there will be a lot of green when this rain stops.
For the last couple years some of the mountain streams have been running dry but I think this year will be a good one. The last picture in this article is from 2013. It's a picture of a snake I took in Palos Hills, Illinois. It's one of the most beautiful forest preserves in cook county, but every once and a while you can find something slithering under a rock.
My son loves these things and when we were in India he was disappointed he couldn't see any snakes in the house. My friend felt sorry for him and took him into a snake sanctuary. After meeting a cobra and a python face to face in the same day he never complained about not having snakes again. And just to make my boy happy we had to visit the crocodile swamp as well. It was way to hot for me.
In retrospect I managed to forget about the rain for a few minutes and now can get back to work. This is the magic of the hive. I need to write something to distract myself from preparing summer school. I can't spend the whole day focusing on fourth grade English. I really need a break.
Love,
