Social Identity creates an inherent bias filter by dint of group lens reinforced outcome expectation, reality reinforcement, emotional security form certainty and static referencing of the self, and self-esteem intertwined with all of the aforementioned held as constants.

Social static identity (I am an engineer, a cowboy, a democrat, etc.) limits the expansion of our opportunities because the above dominates our linguistic and cause-effect framing and that impacts our creativity, and conceptualization of what is possible.

  1. We become the people around us are closest to.
  2. We typically want to be liked by those people.
  3. This coerces us to adopt views that keep us accepted by them.
  4. All of this is bad.

From a security standpoint it also results in us prioritizing the above over our agility to adapt to new information and behavioral expectations without preconceptions.

Identity defined in such a way however is not necessary; humans can function without any kind of static identity at all. Each time we seek to belong and find comfort, we just rip ourselves from it. We keep repeating until we get used to the agony of belonging nowhere. We eventually can find a new strength in being nothing, or an identity in being nothing which is beautifully unique and far more free than those who choose a singular socially reinforced lens fort framing of the world and thus its corresponding consciousness.

We just have to hack ourselves. We do that by creating our identity around one of having none. Our identity is that we are always changing and growing like a chameleon.

It requires refusing to let the child (us) from having connection to the umbilical chord that is comfort in numbers and certainty of the scariness that is the world through identity. It results in a hallow body wiggling out on the pavement alone up until the point they stop wiggling from exhaustion: followed by finally getting off the ground and no longer anxious about being nothing, which a stoic peace falling over us. That is what we must do to humans.

That is the identity we seek for social and self esteem security: the no identity, no tribe, no security, and no comfort... to find solace in the dark loneliness and find our own light by the fire inside us that comes to grow once we recovery and grow after the panic of emptiness; the loneliness and insecurity ends as we become one with nothing, and nothing becomes our strength.

It will hurt a lot and we will cry and some people will not make it but it will be for the better of everyone after we are done.

After we recover from the pain of being nothing for months or years on end because we have broken with the collective and we have ripped from our hearts any crumbs left from our addiction to its security, we can return to society without the need to eat or drink from such a collective.

One time I was on an elevator and a business executive said to the person next to me what do you do?

They said I am a car salesman in the most confident and Shameless voice with her chest out and making eye contact staring them down and the freak fragility of their self esteem hiding behind their suit and their identity.

The executive replied...oh.

The car salesman replied... Nothing more that's it. They then smiled and looked at them further with eye contact as the other person moves their eyes away and discomfort and then they grinned at them and smiled turning their head looking closer into their eyes.

They have transcended the need for identity. They are the strongest.
