It's interesting that 105.1 Detroit radio bans Kanye West songs after slavery comments.

If they EVER promote at the corporate level, speak to the concept of at the on-air talent level, or speak to the concept of at the guest artist level, the 1st Amendment, then they are completely without integrity. While Kanye is an ass (or "jackass" if you're former President Obama), he did not say anything about the station, the workers of the station or the owners of the station.

If they just pulled the tracks but never said why,I would say it was a content decision. Only speculation can be presented. But since they DID say why, they announced their issue. It's the same as firing a black guy and stating that it is because he was black (racist), or firing a black guy and stating nothing.
Specifically booting him from the playlist for THIS statement and not his myriad other RIDICULOUS comments, is sadly completely agenda driven.
