If you want fossil fuels to go away and you want more solar power, the panels need to go somewhere. "Green" people demand it happen, but the "Local Green" people always argue against it being near them or near their "thing."
I heard and read the same kinds of arguments in Santa Monica (related to their home values or the ruining of their views) as these guys are presenting here. The panels are needed and they need to go somewhere. Something will be lost in the process of putting them in place - This is merely fact.
