The tide, endless, pools around my ankles.
A threat, a promise, it whispers, to draw me away.
"Come with me, into the sea; I will take you to the deep abandon "
Softly, I respond, "I cannot, I am bound."
Strings of silver and gold, gilded mirrors of other worlds,
Wrapped intricately into the folds of my heart.
Pain and madness, echoes of yesterday.
A knotty blanket of remembrance
An asylum of my strength.
In the sand I lay, waiting to be still.
It is where you found me,
Imprinted in the grains.
Catching rays, catching dreams,
Motionless, waiting, knowing, that you would come.
The least quiet of transfixed immobility,
For my dreams lived.
My thoughts created.
My love, exists.
Through worlds, I see.
The reflection, a teacher of travel
In water, I rise anew.
Wings unbound for flight.
Glass unbroken, still, boundaries shattered.
The passage, a scrollwork of tingles pouring into the depths of me.
I feel your tug upon the strings of gold and silver.
Bound so infinitely from you to I.
Your voice, so resound, carries over waves,
Beckoning me to rise and swim.
To the place that is you and I.
