We measure our worth by
getting it judged by others.
We think our own happiness
lies in the hands of another.
And when they go, a part of us goes too.
And that's the thing.
Our foundations should be strong.
We should believe in ourselves-
A little deeper,
A little longer
So we can unearth the
power that's rooted deep
beneath our very feet.
So we can discover the
flowers that can be birthed in our hands.

Don't wait for someone out there to recognise your value
Recognise that you are the garden.

You are all things pretty,
