Going Through The Motions

IMG_9631.JPG

I used to be happy, but
those feelings are long
gone.

I never look forward to
the awakening dawn.

My spirits have subsided,
my heart is turning to
stone.

I feel so abandoned and
useless and alone.

I used to have goals, but
those all went away.

I used to enjoy every
moment of every day.

They look at me as if I'm
crazy, but I care no more.

All the hurtful comments
have hardened me, ght
to my core.

I never shall be fixed, for
I'm a downriht mess.

There's no use tring, so
eventually, I digress.

But maybe you could
help me from stopping all
these unemotional
notions.

Please help me from
going through the motions.
