In Freiburg (Germany), a bicycle path covered with photovoltaic panels was built. This is a pilot project through which the constructs want to test the operation of such a structure. The path is only 300 meters long, but if the experiment is successful, such objects will also appear in other places in the city. The roof was built of 900 Solarwatt modules, the installation power reaches 287 kW and will provide about 280 MWh per year.
