Former Apple designer Imran Chaudhri since 2017 has been building a device that is intended to replace smartphones. At the TED conference, the designer showed a device called Humane, in the shape of a pill pinned to clothing at chest level. Humane has a built-in projector that projects various content directly on the user's hand. It also has a camera and microphone and is equipped with AI functions. During the presentation, Chaudhri showed the machine a candy bar and asked if he could eat it. He heard the answer, "The milk bar contains cocoa butter. Given your intolerance, you may want to avoid it."
Humane also has a built-in translator imitating the user's voice. The device is fully autonomous and does not need to pair with a smartphone like most smatwatches.
