Hello Steemians.

Today was quite interesting for me, although, I woke up feeling lazy, I just wanted to sleep some more as I slept late, my korean movie kept me up; lol!

Despite how tired I was feeling, I just had to go to school despite the fact that teaching won't start fully until next week and I would just be in the office gisting with my colleagues.

Few minutes to 8am and I was outdoor; I must say it's been annoying as I have to spend #400 naira daily from my house to my school.... You would ask didn't I know about that before getting myself into it? Story story o.... Oh yes, I didn't know, house agents and their sweet mouths! Thus, I cannot wait for the forthcoming Christmas break so I can save some Alawi change.

I got to school and assembly was over, realized it was sanitation thursday, the students came with brooms and cutlasses.

It was fun monitoring them and most especially enjoying the cool breeze in the early hours of the morning.

While watching the students, my colleagues and I discussed a range of topics, the one that excited me most was when we talked about treasuring every moment and living one's life as if it would end the next day. This discussion came up when one of my friends spoke about the loss of her friend; it's quite depressing to see a friend today and then tomorrow they are no more.
This night again I remember my friend that passed away this year; Nkama emmauel Ifeanyi, I did not see it coming.... He seemed so strong, never knew the few days I saw him before his death, he was already a walking dead.

So there we go, it's important to live our lives knowing it would end one day. What is next for our soul after death?

The cleaning ended around 10 and we were back to the office. I did a bit of marking and recording and then before I knew it, it was time to go home.... Yipee, I love the sound of the bell signifying closing time.

All day, I couldnt get my mind off Amala and Ewedu soup, one of my favourite. So, instead of going home, I went to my favourite food joint!

She so pretty right? Lol

Yeah, so tomorrow there would be holiday. It's teacher's day....... I am glad that I would get to wake up late, how perfect it would have been to have light now, would have stayed up to watch my korean movies but there is no light, it's quite unusual....

Anyway, I still have my plantain to fry and then off I am to bed but before that I am dropping this little rant of mine here.....
