I'm surprised to hear what you repeated that it takes about 2kg to make an espresso!😳 That's a lot of coffee for a small glass, but I guess that's necessary for the strong flavour. I like your hint about noting the measurements down in a notepad and adjusting accordingly. That reminds me of when I first starting doing photography and I would write down the different settings to see where I needed to consider changing.
