It was a complete revelation to see how a thriving community of herbal medicines was stomped out by enforcement under the guise of 'legalization' as I watched the documentary unfold I was absolutely enranged and saddened to see those who were the ones who fought for decriminalization and fair access to herb were now being the ones harassed and punished.
Like I said, I wasn't aware of the paradigm and what it truly looked like in action, your documentary and personal experience was enlightening in that regard.
I saw that you were one of the few who continued to fight for the farmers market and hence were singled out for harrasment by corporate enforcement officials. I commend you for your strength, it is the silver lining in all this corporate madness that you embody that fight and how it will truly never end.
Yes, I imagine it is infuriating to watch this unfold before your community, but by communicating your experience to me you have doubled your message as I too will vocalize support for individual business the freedom to grow a plant and share it with their community. Their 'legalization' is a farce when it diminishes personal freedom and enrinches the wealthy 'license' holders. Shame on Trudeau and local gov. in attacking those in a community spreading the message of love, unity and healing through individual herbal growing, as Pharmaceutical companies run rampant.
Your message has found me in exactly the right moment as I am in a state looking to move forward with 'legalization' and as such I plan on communicating with local activists on how to perhaps avoid such an outcome in my own community.
Thanks again, and god bless
